ABOUT FUTURE LEADERS
OUTREACH NETWORK
Our organization has gained a reputation for being the fastest growing grass-root organization implementing educational programs for adolescents, ages 12-18 and adults. Our program focus is to empower adolescents to abstain from drugs, alcohol, sexual activity until marriage, tobacco and violence (e.g., date rape, gang activity).
Studies have shown that abstinence education:
-
Builds character and integrity
Teaches assertiveness and refusal skills
Promotes abstinence-until-marriage
Develops self determination, self-esteem self worth and self respect
Prepares the youth, our “Future Leaders” to become self-sufficient before marriage
Abstinence education teaches adolescents while implementing all eight elements of section 510
