Your Gift Will Make A Difference! In the last year, thanks to contributions from supporters like you, FLON and our affiliates were able to provide services to adolescents, parents, caregivers, and incarcerated and newly released citizens (i.e., offenders). Here are a few highlights: FLON and affiliate partners served more than 500 adolescents, parents, families and our mentees in the Kansas Department of Corrections Facilities. We provided mentoring, life skills training, abstinence education post-secondary preparation (e.g., Career planning, financial literacy, college preparatory, non-profit development, leadership development and introduction to entrepreneurship to 350 program participants. Over the past 10 years, our program performance evaluation reported statistically significant outcomes Our most recent achievements was our Pursue Your Dreams Initiative program model manuscript was published in the 2011 American Journal Health Studies (AJHS).
