Future Leaders Outreach Network (FLON) is seeking C.A.R.E.E. Willing Workers (i.e. Project Volunteers) to provide various tasks our headquarters located in Kansas City, MO and regional offices in Arlington TX and Kansas City, KS.  


C.A.R.E.E is an acronym for Committed, Accountable, Responsible and Engaged and Enthusiastic.


Everyone involved is Committed, Accountable, Responsible, Engaged and Enthusiastic about educating, empowering, motivating and guiding teens and young adults, ages 10 to 25 toward achieving their highest potential and thereby ensuring our community its future leaders.


Overall, the unity, passion, and zeal of the FLON staff, partners, volunteers, parents and other adults demonstrates that they are individuals who C.A.R.E.E.

At FLON we say that teens and young adults are the future Emerging and Aspiring Global Leaders and or Entrepreneurs Soaring to new heights.

Together we are the F.A.M.I.L.Y. – Fathers, all Adults, and Mothers Involved in Leading Youth, who will provide the support teens and young adults need to move toward adulthood safely with the skills, interests and assets that are developed inside their families and communities.  With your help, they will soar to new heights.

FLON is always seeking men, women and young people to volunteer at various program activities and community events. Below is a brief description of the various volunteer positions.


Project Facilitator Associate: Experience facilitating necessary. Lead groups of students through the evidence-based and promising practices curricula in schools, community centers, and faith-based centers using a positive youth development approach.


Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper: Three (3) years’ bookkeeping and Administrative Assistant experience in accounts receivable and payable, typing 40 wpm, good written and communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Office applications and QuickBooks. Will work closely with the Executive Director and Accountant.


General Office and Outreach: One (1) year experience. Help assemble program materials together, take inventory of supplies, assist with community outreach and various tasks at program sites, special events and community program events.


Event Planner Coordinator: Three-year experience necessary. Assist with planning, coordination, and implementation of special events for program participants at program sites, FLON headquarters and office or facility rented by FLON.


Resource Development Specialist: Experience with successful fundraising campaigns, grant writing, research and secure funding opportunities from businesses and foundations.


Media Marketing Coordinator: Experience with social media necessary and experience with website design preferred. Keep website, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram updated. Create posters, brochures, business cards, etc.



Volunteer Recruitment Coordinator: Experience preferred. Recruit and manage volunteers in the office, at program sites, and during special events.
